No More Loose Cords
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced new quidelines, to go into effect May 30, 2023, restricting the manufacture of corded custom window treatments in the interest of increased child safety.

In accordance with the CPSC guidelines:
Lantex USA will no longer be offering window treatments withcords.
No repairs will be performed on older, non-compliant products.
Any warranties will still be honored regardless of old products'
compliance, but replacement products will be compliant.
No additional products besides those specifically affected under
the warranty will be replaced.
No difference in pricing is expected due to compliance with this ruling.

What are my options ifl do not have a warranty and want to replace non-compliant window coverings?

Lantex USA is happy to provide compliant window coverings at our standard price.lfyou prefer not to purchase new window coverings yet, you may consider altering your current products to be compliant with new regulations (restraining any cords to prevent them from dangling, for instance).

If I replace an existing product due to damaged products that cannot be repaired, or if l buy repairs, do lget a discount?

Call the distributor you purchased from, let them know how many window treatments you need to replace, and we will be happy to see what we can do for you.
